Effective October 3, 2026. What Texas Medical Insurance collects, and what we do with it.
What this Site collects
Texas Medical Insurance is operated by Lander LLC. The Site itself has no sign-in, no forms and no advertising or retargeting trackers. It does count clicks on its plan and call buttons (which button, which page and which state site, with no name, IP address or other personal information) so we can see which pages are helpful. Our hosting provider and network may keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to deliver the Site and protect it from abuse.
When you call us
If you call 855-367-1095, we receive your phone number and whatever you choose to tell the agent, such as your ZIP code, age, current coverage and questions. We use this to respond to you, discuss coverage options, and, if you choose, help with an application. We do not sell your personal information.
Links to other sites
The “look at plans” buttons and the official-resource links take you to sites run by other parties (for example the state marketplace, Medicare.gov, or an insurance company or enrollment platform). Those sites collect information under their own privacy policies, and what you enter there goes to them, not to this Site.
Sensitive information
Please do not send Social Security numbers, Medicare numbers, payment information or medical records through this Site or by unsecured email or text. Your agent will tell you how to share needed information securely.
Sharing
We share information only as needed to help with the request you make (for example with an insurance company when you apply), with service providers who help us operate, and where required by law or to protect rights and safety. Insurance companies handle the information you give them under their own privacy notices and applicable insurance and privacy laws.
Your choices
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you, by calling 855-367-1095. Residents of some states have additional privacy rights, which we will honor as the law requires. The Site is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their information.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes
We may update this policy; the effective date above shows the latest version.
